Introduction of three issues: the basic introduction of the first gate, the working principle of the second gate, the application scope of the third gate
Basic introduction to gates
The earliest application of brakes in China was in the 1980s, used in subway projects. As the main equipment of the "Automatic Ticket Checking Machine" in the "Automatic Ticket Checking System AFC", the gate is also the earliest and most widely understood by the Chinese people. In the late 1990s, the gates gradually appeared in ordinary civilian and commercial places, including office buildings, shopping malls, supermarkets, scenic spots and even high-end communities.
It should be pointed out that the gate and the ticket gate are not exactly the same concept. The ticket checking machine includes an automatic ticket checking machine and a portable ticket checking machine. The automatic ticket checking machine is a specific application of a gate machine combined with a ticketing system. The range of gates is wider. As long as it is a device used to manage people in and out and can only pass one person at a time, it can be regarded as a gate in a broad sense.
How the gate works
According to the different control methods of the movement, it is divided into mechanical, semi-automatic and fully automatic. Some manufacturers refer to the semi-automatic type as the electric type and the fully automatic type as the automatic type.
Mechanical is to control the movement of the blocking body (connected to the movement) by human force, and mechanical limit to stop the movement of the movement;
The semi-automatic type uses an electromagnet to control the movement and stop of the movement;
The fully automatic type uses a motor to control the movement and stop of the movement.
By controlling the movement and stopping of the movement, the opening and closing of the blocking body is further controlled.
According to the number of movements and blocking bodies in the same gate, the gate can be divided into single movement (including 1 movement and 1 blocking body) and double movement (including 2 movements and 2 blocking bodies). , Showing a symmetrical shape).
According to the different blocking bodies and blocking methods, it can be divided into three roller gates, swing gates, wing gates, translation gates, turn gates, and one-way gates.
Application range of gate
As a channel management device, the most essential function of the gate is to pass through one person at a time by blocking and releasing. The application object is pedestrians (including luggage and bicycles), and the application is the entrance and exit, but as an intelligent channel management As part of the system, the gate can be used with other systems for different special occasions, thereby playing a greater role.
At present, the most common systems supporting gates are access control systems and ticketing systems.
In the access control system, the earliest blocking method is an electronically controlled door, but the door cannot be effectively implemented by only one person at a time. Due to structural and morphological restrictions, the use of the door is limited; switching to a gate can solve these problems, especially in buildings or Closed entrances and exits in geographical areas are very suitable for using gates as blocking mechanisms for access control systems. Such as intelligent buildings, government agencies, enterprise parks, communities, factories, prisons, etc.
The relationship between the ticket checking part of the ticketing system and the gate is inseparable. As long as it is a non-manual automatic ticket checking, it cannot be separated from the gate. The two most typical application types are rail transit and electronic tickets. Rail transit, including subways, high-speed rail, etc., no longer regards the gate as a separate product, but is classified as part of the automatic ticket gate; electronic tickets mainly refer to the automatic ticket inspection at the entrance for various places for paid entertainment, including Scenic areas, playgrounds, stadiums, ski resorts, entertainment venues, etc.
